Easy things anyone can do to help our environment.

Remember: Even doing just one of these tips can make a positive impact on our environment!

1. Try meatless Monday’s– more info

2. Bring your own to-go coffee cup to coffee shops instead of using their plastic to go cups

3. Using a bar of soap instead of liquid soap since most liquid soap comes in plastic containers

4. Carry a reusable bag or reuse any plastic bags that you already have

5. Stay away from fast fashion (I know this can be hard, thrifting is a great option)– more info

6. Repurpose old clothes– up cycle or make them into rags

7. Bring your own glass container for leftovers at restaurants

8. Buy bamboo toothbrushes instead of plastic ones –more info

9. Washing your clothes less, especially your jeans (Unless they smell super bad)

10. Hang drying your clothes instead of using the dryer– This is better for the environment and probably better for your clothes– more info

11. Carpool with friends, bike, skateboard, or walk to places

12. Shop local and support farmers markets instead of going to grocery stores–more info

14. When eating at home, use rags instead of paper towels

15. Buy reusable face wipes or reusable cotton pads for taking off make up

16. Hand washing your dishes instead of always using the dishwasher

17. Turn off your lights when you leave a room and unplug unnecessary items

18. Be conscientious of what you’re buying and where it came from

19. Turn off your water while you’re brushing your teeth

20. Reuse jars, boxes, and containers ~Get creative~

21. Buy compostable trash bags instead of plastic

22. Start your own food garden, there are so many herbs that can grow indoors all year round

23. Buy reef safe sunscreen — No Oxybenzone or Butylparaben I recommend SuperGoop! they recently changed

24. Try a day/week/ month of no single use plastic

25. Inform others, share these tips, and continue to further educate yourself
